
Supa Fine presents another original music night with this month Supa Fine offers a superb venue with LIVE soul, folk, jazz, performaces from Kersha Bailey, Shanice Smith, Christian Miller & Emily O'Hara which are ozzing raw talent with passion. DJ Speedy (Supa Fine/ICRadio/CCRadio/TSOL) will be hosting the event.
You have been invited to attend Kersha Bailey's first acoustic album launch 'Beyond The Stars'.
It's been an eventful journey for Kersha as an unsigned artist, some significant opportunities have entailed heading at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and receiving radio play on established platforms such as BBC radio and KRCW (LA), plus DJ Speedy radio show 'Supa Fine Sessions'.
After watching her grow and blossom into the artist that she is today, Kersha is looking forward to sharing content with you that is very expressive and close to her heart. It has been a two year journey, but she is ready to un-veil her debut album to the world, entitled "Beyond The Stars".
KERSHA BAILEY
Kersha is a singer, songwriter and self tought guitarist. The roots to Kersha's music is acoustic jazz, then branches out into indie and alternative soul. as well as being accompanied with a four-twelve piece band, she is most know for her heart wrenching song 'Promises'.
At the age of 17, Kersha had developed a three octave vocal range with a soulful, melodic style. Her influences are diverse and include Coldplay, Dorinda Clarke Cole, Foo Fighters, George Benson, Jill Scott and many others.
Kersha has performed at many acclaimed UK venues and events such as Ronnie Scott's Lovebox Festival, Jazz Cafe, Cargo, Rise Festival, Hackney Empire, Vibe Bar, Stratford circus, V&A and The Royal Albert Hall and now Supa Fine.
Kersha's aim is to hone hear art, to have international success and for her music to reach a wide audience to touch those who appreciate REAL MUSIC.
CHRISTIAN MILLER & EMILY O'HARA
Initially inspired by classes with Dave Cliff and Phil Robson, Christian has gone on to work as a professional jazz guitarist and has played with many of the leading lights of UK jazz including Robert Mitchell, Mike Mondesir, Ian Shaw, Alex Garnett, and Hungarian drum star Gabor Dornyei.
Christian also enjoys a parallel career touring the European swing dance circuit with "Righteously reto" dixieland/swing outfit The Shirt Tail Stompers, and has played with musicians from New York and New Orleans.
Emily O'Hara is a guitarist from London. Since graduating from Trinity College of Music, she has found great sucess with her Brazilian group Vila Verde, playing 'Choro' the Brazilian Ragtime. The group have played at the World-famous Vortex Jazz Club (as part of the wonderful Supa Fine presents series) and hosted the UK's first celebration of Choro Day.
SHANICE SMITH
Singer and musician that plays guitar/piano where she accompanies herself when performing. Currently attends The Performing Arts School The BRIT School, Shanice loves singing gospel, and has participated in such choirs S.O.W (Sound Of Wisdom), and church choirs. They are called 'Trufull'.
Shanice has recorded numerous demo songs, covering a range of styles (including, 'I Love Your Smile', 'Many Rivers To Cross', 'The Way You Make Me Feel', 'When A Heart Is Broken', 'One Love' and many more).
